We’re not your typical solid waste management facility, we’re a one-stop-shop for your industrial and demolition waste needs. We offer integrated waste solutions through solid waste processing that incorporates sustainable environmental practices.
Our commitment to environmental stewardship goes beyond recycling and waste processing and starts with the physical appearance of our sites — clean, well-organized, and minimally disruptive to our local communities. All Vonco waste campuses are backed by a team of professionals that are Minnesota Certified Landfill Operators and experts in the solid waste industry.
Vonco began managing and recycling demolition debris in the 1960’s in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. From there, operations expanded to Rogers, Minnesota with its first permit-by-rule solid waste disposal site. The first Vonco facility opened in 1991 to serve the construction and demolition waste needs of greater Minneapolis and the Northwest suburbs.
By focusing on customers, Vonco grew quickly, opening our second waste campus in 2003 to service the growing Twin Cities market. As part of our practice of environmental stewardship, construction of this facility included a composite liner system utilizing multiple layers of protection.
In response to increased market demands, Vonco II, in Becker, Minnesota converted its location to a full-scale waste campus capable of accepting all non-hazardous construction, demolition and industrial wastes. In 2010, Vonco V in Duluth, Minnesota also converted its location to a full-scale waste campus. In 2017, Vonco II in Becker, Minnesota opened a facility to bale old corrugated cardboard (OCC).
We continue to serve customers wholeheartedly by providing environmentally sound integrated waste solutions that will continue for years to come.
